In 1963, Mr.Carlo Hornsby purchased Milton Academy with a dream of educating all phases of Cosmetology students, Esthetics and Nail Care Specialist. He renamed Milton Academy,Western Hills School of Beauty and Hair Design.  In 1968, he went forth with the Marinello Cosmetology School and it became Eastern Hills Academy of Hair Design.  In 1999, Mr. H. ventured into an additional location to Western Hills,and named it Tri County Beauty College.

Our focus on education has always been of the most primary concern. Our staff has training sessions every 6 months with additional classes on an ongoing basis to keep their skills the best they can be. Our students are trained theoretically and practically in the student salon offering a wide variety of Clinicalservices to include full body Massage and Micro­ dermabrasion.

In addition to the Cosmetology program, Esthetics program and Nail program, we also offer a program which is a combination of Skin Care and Nail Care.  This program offers all the skills necessary to work in a spa except for hair design. We are constantly striving through continuing education to give quality services and prepare the students to obtain a license in their chosen field, i.e. Cosmetology, Skin Care and Nail Care.

All of our programs contain Manager's Programs. We strongly believe in Manager's programs to become independent in the salon, perhaps even work for one's self as an independent contractor. Most small businesses fail as a result of poor business practices.

With a strong background in salon services and good business practices our students go onto run, operate,and manage many of the upscale salons in the Tri-State area.
